Today marks the official 100th anniversary of Chevrolet. To celebrate GM is pulling out all the stops, from a commercial that highlights Chevrolet’s legacy to a Pandora station that plays 100 Chevy-themed songs.

Here in Portland, Ron Tonkin Chevrolet is celebrating with a classic car display. Our lot has turned into memory lane with classic Chevrolets dating back to the 1930s.

Below are photos of some of the classic cars at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet. For more information call 503-255-4100

Portland Sonic Adventure

People are flooding into Chevy showrooms around the country to take a Sonic for a spin. The Sonic is a new favorite among car enthusiasts, press, and customers alike. What makes this car stand out in the competitive subcompact segment? In short, the Sonic has a sporty style with a motorcycle-inspired gauge cluster, a fifteen-inch wheel standard, and optional hatchback. It is also fun to drive, having the highest horsepower in the segment and suspension engineered by Corvette engineers.

To celebrate the latest addition to the Chevrolet lineup, local dealers are sponsoring a one day treasure hunt in PDX.  On Sunday, November 6th you will have the chance to win a new 2012 Chevy Sonic! Visit www.chevysonicadventure.com to sign up and stop by Ron Tonkin Chevrolet for a hint that will help you on game day.
