GM has just unveiled a sporty wagon version of its beloved Chevy Cruze. Unfortunately, this highly anticipated vehicle will not be hitting showrooms in the U.S. anytime soon. GM fallowed the announcement of the new Cruze Wagoon with a statement saying there are no plans to bring this car to the States.
In this video featuring the Cruze Wagon the front-end has a slight facelift, including a new grill. While we may not get the Cruze Wagon we can hope that the mid-cycle Cruze sedan will feature this stylish new facelift.
The sporty Sonic will be available in an even sportier version, the RS. This high performance car made it’s debut at the North American International Auto Show.
The Sonic RS will be stocked with a turbocharged 138-horsepower four-cylinder engine, tuned exhaust, tighter suspension, 17-inch wheels and an upgraded, leather-trimmed interior. Its grille, fog lamps and other body parts have been redesigned. Unlike most subcompacts, this car is designed to be not only fuel efficient, but fun to drive.
“The new Chevrolet Sonic RS pushes Chevrolet’s performance heritage in a new direction, for a new generation of drivers,” said Chris Perry, vice president of Global Chevrolet Marketing. “It takes the Sonic’s great design and latest connectivity features and combines them with a more performance-oriented look and feel.”
Though the existing Sonic is a blast to drive, the Sonic RS takes fun to a whole new level.
